ICCP Girl Scout Troop 33195 

ICCP Girl Scout Troop 33195 is a Rainbow Troop, which currently includes Girl Scouts ranging in age from 5-11. Because we are based at the Islamic Community Center of Potomac (ICCP), the girls have many opportunities to explore their Muslim faith and help the community through Girl Scout activities.
Troop 33195 Girl Scouts have participated in :
  • The Potomac Day Parade
  • Community Service gardening project at the Potomac Library
  • Gardening flowers/bulbs at ICCP
  • Syrian refugee clothes drive
  • Earning a Music badge with Raef, a Muslim American musician
  • Learning about financial literacy
  • Learning about staying fit
  • Earning a Seerah badge – 
     Under the ‘Make My Own Badge’ program of GSNC, the troop coordinated with the Mawlid program at ICCP, and earned the badge by activities like the quiz about Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) life, artwork etc… if you’re interested in participating in the quiz, go to:
  • Fall product sales
  • Selling Girl Scout cookies
Future activities planned for 2017 include:
  • Camping
  • Ice skating
  • Earning a Jumu’ah prayer badge
The Girl Scout Brownies and Juniors meet twice a month on Friday nights at ICCP.
The Girl Scout Daisies meet once or twice a month on Sunday afternoons at ICCP.
